Bioit's very hard to sum yourself up in a paragraph. so here you have some basics, the outer shell if you will. everything else will have to be discovered within.
i'm swiss-german. i was raised and educated in both switzerland and germany, having a parent from each country. it made things pretty interesting growing up. i speak a few languages. i now live in coastal california and i'm really loving it here. <3 in my now 6+ years of living in the usa, i've had many adventures within these borders. knowing that some people are cripophobic, i will say that i mostly use a [supaaaacool manual] wheelchair to get around - not exclusively, it's just faster than putting on spare parts to walk sometimes. why spare parts? i have an acquired disability, which i view as a challenge rather than a catastrophy. i hope you do, too. i love my life and my career and you could say i'm a happy person 90% of the time. i like playing sports and being active. i'm also outdoorsy and traveling internationally is one of my favorite things ever. when i started this journal, i had just moved from southern cali's inland empire to the beach and got rid of what turned out to be crazy psycho stalker boyfriend. [dating again now] i started a new job at the same time. yay!
lj looked like a good place to settle down for some blogging when i discovered it in nov 2007.
260+ entries later, i still love it here. i've met some very cool people through this, some of whom turned real life friends.
my journal is now friends-only, simply because silent lurkers and stalkers bother me. they seemed to just flock to me here. i want to communicate with my livejournal friends and my readers, to me that's the whole point of a blog! so if you agree with me here don't be afraid to ask to be added, i will be happy to have you on board. :]
